Quitting And Reiki Lessons

I have not been inspired to write any posts lately, so I am thinking about stopping. I don’t feel like I am getting any rewards from this blogging process anymore. As it stands, I have worked through a lot of tough problems through this medium. And maybe I just have writer’s block. Either way, I have two months to determine if I should continue down this path.

Next week, I start Reiki training and then after I might feel different. It will be a nice one-on-one training with a local Reiki teacher, who also is a spiritualist. So I am hoping for some bonding time and a great learning experience. I already offer energy healing through my Etsy shop, but I would like to expand my abilities. And better understand my responsibilities as an energy healer. After watching many healers do their work on Youtube and state their protection practice, I would like to comprehend why it is so important.

I may not get to such a high level of healing, that I would need to protect myself and everyone around me from lower-energy sabotage. But there is a known concept in spirituality about the brighter the light, the stronger the dark forces work against you. I don’t know if that was true for Saints or anyone like them, but I do see this now with energy healers.

My Practice

When experienced energy healers talk about their spiritual protection, they seem to take time every day, sometimes hours to protect their living and working space. This is something I do not do yet. I do protect from ill effects before Chakra Checks and Alignments. In addition, ask for my energy healing to be in both our best interest and our highest good. Surely that seems to work fine so far, but should I be doing more?

I hope my questions are answered during my Reiki training and more information is revealed to me. In the end, I am sure my spirit guides will let me know when it is time to step up my practice.
