Do You Really Love Our Things?

Do you love the things you love? I have been faced with this question about my love for writing. Do I love writing or is it a past-life trait manifesting during this lifetime?

How this can occur depends on what life lessons we are trying to accomplish. In our past lives we have either; achieved our goals or fallen short. If we achieved our goals then we choose not to re-live them. If we fail, then we need to complete them in another lifetime. Similar traits or characteristics can manifest in this lifetime through the goals we still need to complete.

Say you were a painter in a past life, who needed to learn a lesson about staying authentic and not yielding to others’ desires. If you failed at this goal, you might have changed your paintings to make them more accessible to the mainstream for income.

Now in your current life, you need to attempt this goal again. Maybe this time you are an engineer, who is faced with the same dilemma and the only activity you find relaxing is painting. But instead of standing your ground, you think you should be a painter. You want to quit your engineering job and struggle with making income through your art.

Sometimes our passions/urges are just echoed from our past lives. Manifesting parallel with your life lessons. Past Life Bleedthroughs is another way to see it.

Personal Background

I suspect my urge to write is from a past-time. English was my hardest subject in school, and I barely passed. To this day I still struggle with grammar and spelling. Ever since I learned to write, I have been writing poetry and stories, in my later years. I have an urge to write and I feel I would gain great life satisfaction by publishing a book. This is not the only trait I can use to make income, so I have an inner battle about what career I should pursue.

I currently use writing as part of my passion for teaching. I also find writing a good way to release energy and unexpressed emotions. Writing just might be the most useful tool for me to use throughout my life, not a career goal.

Homework

I have homework for you all. Try to think about what you are passionate about and see if it really fits into your personality. You might be surprised to find one or two traits out of place.

My advice is to not pressure yourself into pursuing all your passions. Combine them or just have fun using them to express yourself. Don’t feel disappointed if they don’t work out like you thought they would.

Some passions are just past-life traits expressing themselves again as an echo from another time.
