This can not be expressed enough how important proper breathing is to our well-being. Unconsciously over time, humans have made their breath shallower due to lifestyles. Inadvertently, denying our being the ultimate connection between the Spirit, Mind and Body. Because our breath is the link between our worlds and connection.

Breathing is great for pain relief, relaxation, calming anxiety, enjoying the moment, exercise, raising our vibration, meditation and connecting to Source. As a child, I lacked the Mind-Body connection which caused me to be very clumsy. To this day, I still forget my spacial awareness and bump into couches and countertops. For pain relief, I learned to breathe through the pain and I can recover quicker. Which came to be very handled during labour pains.

The Many Uses Of Breath Work

From an early age, everyone learns how important breathing is during exercise. It helps with burn, stretching, and endurance. One of the best tools to getting fit and healthy. But there are other practice uses like calming down after an emotional spike.

Through meditation, breath work connects us with Source and is a well-known practice. It was a weird concept for me to understand at first, using deep breathing to make a real connection with Spirit. After some practice, I can feel the difference and believe in it. All I need is three deep breaths with my intention to connect with my higher self and I am there. I feel it through my chakras and with tingles throughout my body. Also, I like to take deep breaths with my belly and hold my breath in, like I am hugging my heart with my lungs.
